
One of the hardest part of dieting, for me is not being able to eat home made breads. My favorite is Sourdough, but I thought I would try a wheat bread in my bread maker. Since Weight Watchers tells you to eat wheat breads, I found this recipe for a bread maker and had to try it.
I pulled the East Whole Wheat Bread recipe from the Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book. Below is the recipe that I used.
Easy Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients:
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons water
4 tablespoons honey or sugar
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
1 ½ cups bread flour
¾ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast

1. Mix together ingredients according to your bread machine instructions.

The bread came out very good, and the pieces are pretty big for 2 points a piece.
